Displaying “Available on backorder”

  • Hi,

    Firstly, thanks for this plugin.

    Just testing out and I notice that product items on backorder in the list do not display “Available on backorder”.

    It would be really great if the plugin could display this on the product page, similar to as it does on the cart page. Otherwise, customers would not see this displayed anywhere if going straight to checkout.

    I’m agree with MBV.

    I was annoyed by this too, but I found that they moved the options now. You have to turn on stock control in the settings under Woocommerce => Settings => Products and then => Inventory. Once you click that check the box that says “enable stock management”. Once you have that on, then adjust your other settings and save the page.

    Then go back to the actual product and click on Inventory and check the box that says “manage stock”. Then select “Allow, but notify customer” under “Allow Backorders” option. Hope this helps.
