Displaying caption under thumbnails

    This is driving me nuts – downloaded NextGen plugin but cannot get caption to display under thumbnails- it just doesn’t display anything, how do I get it to display the alt ttext underneath? Can’t believe it can’t be done without hacking code around? Thanks in advance for any help. Thisis for basic thumbnails for a gallery, not album.

    I am having the same problem with captions not displaying under thumbnails. Using WordPress 3.7.1 and NextGEN Gallery 2.0.33.
