    Hi

First of all thanks for this great plugin and wonderful support. I’m trying to use shortcodes to display ranks and achievements a user have earned. I can filter the achievements using the “filter_value” attribute with “completed” value but I could not make that attribute work on ranks. Is there a similar attribute which works for ranks?

    Hi @oyalbunny!

I would be more than happy to assist you today.

I’m glad to hear that you like GamiPress and our support.
Sorry but in the ranks we do not have a “filters_value” attribute, the attributes available for the ranks you will find them inside each shortcode of the ranks.

Anyway we add your suggestion to study it and if it is feasible we will develop it in the future.

    Hope it helps!

In the mean time, is there a way I can display a user’s ranks on their profile (not the logged in user but the user we are displaying the profile of)?

I’m using a theme that manages users and provides an author template to edit. It uses that template to display user profiles. I have placed the shortcode for the GamiPress Achievements with the “completed” operator and now I’m trying to display the earned ranks of the user. I can insert a custom HTML or a shortcode to that template.

    Hi @royalbunny!

Are you still using Ultimate Member?
If you are using it a few months ago we answered this question, you can see it from this link. Displaying all ranks on the same row
In it my partner explained that you had to go to GamiPress->Settings->Add-ons->Ultimate Member you have almost same settings for achievement and ranks.
If you are using another plugin for profiles, tell me and I will tell you if it is possible to show it in that plugin or if it is not possible.

    Hope it helps!

    Hi @pacogon

I have switched to the Newspaper theme by TagDiv and they have a nice author template that you can edit so I want to stop using Ultimate Member. It is a bit heavy to use to just display a nice user profile page. Newspaper theme allows you to use custom HTML and shortcodes on its template. If I can display all badges of a user (both ranks and achievements) on their profile then I’m all set.

    Hi @royalbunny!

I would be more than happy to assist you today.

I’m sorry but this would currently only be possible with custom development as the shortcodes work for the logged in user and not displaying it on a theme page.
In this case I recommend that you contact a custom development company to do this for you as we do not offer support for customizations like that as our main focus is the development and maintenance of GamiPress, AutomatorWP and all the official plugins.
If you don’t know any of them, we recommend you to check our list of trusted experts who can estimate any kind of work for you here:

    Hi @pacogon

Thank you so much for the reply. It would be great if the ranks had the same “completed” operator as the achievements.

But I will look for another way as you suggested. Thanks again for the great plugin and wonderful addons.

    All the best!
