Displaying content from shortcodes from other plugins

Ad Inserter processes WP shortcodes in the blocks using the do_shortrcode () WP function:

The most likely reason is that the plugin that should process your shortcodes has not registered the shortcode in WordPress as a shortcode – it may still process the post/page content and replace own (unregistered) shortcodes with custom content.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ve got another version of our site on our staging site at the moment so I can’t send you a link. But the plugin in question whose shortcode I am trying to use is from CMAnswers Pro. Their shortcoes work if I place them directly in a text widget, but it isn’t working if I place the shortcode in AdInserter or even use AdInserter to generate a widget.

Then I would suggest to contact the support of that plugin.

Without check your site, plugin settings and the insertion process I can’t say anything.

You can try one more thing.

Try to lower plugin priority (e.g 5).

This will call Ad Inserter before other plugins so they may process the code inserted by Ad Inserter.
