Displaying custom posts on a page
-
I apologize beforehand if this question has been answered elsewhere – I searched and didn’t find the answer.
I’m making a webpage for a car dealer with wordpress. Now, he wants to be able to add some cars that he has for sale – just to display them, not an actual webstore. My thought was to do it with custom posts, since i haven’t found any good alternatives.
I never worked with custom posts before, except in themes where they were pre-made (right now I’m working with Twenty-Ten child theme).
At the moment, I have the posts working and they’re displaying on a single.php-page. They’re showing as a list now, which is fine, that’s what I want – BUT – I’d like them to display on a page – like with regular posts, you can choose to show all posts on a post page. As it is now, if I want to add the cars to the menu, I’d have to add one of the cars – but then when that car is sold and deleted, the menu will break (the owner is supposed to update the page himself).TL;DR: How to display custom posts on a specific page?
