Displaying first entry of each category in category.php

    I’m currently using the following structure for my Permalinks settings.
    /%category%/%postname%/

    Problem i’m having is if i go to https://www.xxx.com/%category%/
    it’s blank, so how can i publish the first entry of each category in the categories template?
