Displaying full content first post and excerprts of rest

  • I would like to display the entirety of the top post on my home page, but excerpts of the rest of the posts on the home page. How do I do this? I have tried different coding changes but can’t get it to work. I am using the clearlines theme.

    Sorry, Yes, the Clear Line theme. My website is https://www.thefitscoop.com. I just tried replacing places where I saw “excerpt” with “content” – I don’t know much at all about coding so I messed things up and stopped trying once I returned to the original coding. How can I get my home page to display the entire content of the top post but just excerpts of the older posts? Thank you!
