Displaying Galleries, default gallery, using pop-up interface
-
When using the pop-up interface to display a Nextgen basic thumbnail gallery, In the edit custom post ‘visual view ‘a Red triangle with exclamation mark is displayed and in the ‘text view’
<img class="ngg_displayed_gallery mceItem" alt="" src="https://properties247.co.uk/nextgen-attach_to_post/preview/id--23372" />
The short code would be [nggallery id =3072]
As our site is highly reliant on Nextgen gallery and requires various users to create posts adding a gallery, the easiest way used to be using the pop-up interface feature (which used to add the short code). With the above results, we cannot use the interface as the output is undecipherable. In text mode, id –23372 does not really relate to id = 3072 and in visual mode the red triangle tells you nothing.
When you view the custom post, the output is correct and the chosen gallery is displayed.
Has anyone else experienced this problem. Is there a solution or can we no longer use Nextgen pop-up to add our galleries for display?
