• I’m trying to display a gallery on the project page using NextGen Gallery. Problem seems to be that Orvis identifies the nextGen gallery shortcode as text and automatically displays it on the left column. Is there a way to adjust the rules so that shortcode is also displayed on the right column?

On a related note, if I use the WordPress standard gallery shortcode [gallery...] it’s displayed correctly on the right column. The reason I want to use NextGen though is the better management UI, I’m not well-versed enough with WordPress to rely on shortcode only.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Just in case somebody reads this. I bit the bullet and used another theme (Boardwalk) for my simple site. I preferred Orvis’s out-of-the-box look but since the functionality needed more tweaking than my skills permit, had to opt for plan B.

Hi there, I installed Orvis and NGG on my test site and the NGG galleries work fine when inserted into a standard page or post, so this is something to do with the Jetpack Portfolio feature.

I would suggest posting to the Jetpack support forum and hopefully they can take a look at things or give you a clue as to what to do to get it to work.
