Displaying image from standard post on Home page

  • Is it possible to display the image from a standard blog post on the home page?

    If I post a square photo as an image style post, it gets turned in to a rectangle.

    Or is there a way to prevent a featured image from being a rectangle?

  • Hi jimschmechel. One thing you could try is using the Theme Options > Blog > Standard Blog List. This changes the post summary format around and displays the featured image on the left with the post meta data and excerpt on the right.
