Displaying one category on main page

    I’m working on a photogrphy portfolio site, I’m using WordPress for the back end. I will have several sections (i.e. Landscape, Abstract, Model). On the main page I would like to display only specific photos. My question is whether I can set only a specific category to display on the main page?
