    Hi @athensweb,

Did you delete the thumbnails cache after applying that code change? (Settings > WordPress Popular Posts > Tools.)

Yes, we did. What is the problem? Could you give us any tips?

Haven’t checked yet. I was awaiting for your feedback to not spend time on this if it was a cache issue but since it’s not that then I’ll have a look as soon as I can.

Alright, so I gave the code from the other topic a go with the latest version of WordPress Popular Posts and a fresh WordPress install. The code worked as expected:

WPP displaying different images per language

    So:

    1. Make sure you followed all of the instructions from the other topic.

    2. Make sure to flush WPP’s Thumbnails Cache afterwards, as I suggested before.

    3. If you followed steps 1 and 2 and you still can’t get WPP to display different thumbnails per language then:

3.1. Enable the Troubleshooting mode on your site.

3.2. Reactivate WPML and WordPress Popular Posts, flush WPP’s thumbnail cache, and check your popular posts list again.

3.3. If at this point WPP still doesn’t display different thumbnails per language then something else is going on and you’ll need to do some more research/debugging to find out what it is.
