Hi, that’s a current limitation of the oik-nivo-slider.

We wish to include a tagline under image captions similar to this original post – do you have plans to add this functionality at some point?

Hi zigojacko. Again, it’s a current limitation of the oik-nivo-slider code, which uses nivo jquery.

In oik v2.1 I have made it a lot easier to use jQuery cycle to display content using the advanced formatting originally developed for the [bw_pages] shortcode.

The solution to this was delivered in oik-nivo-slider v1.12.
Use the format= parameter to specify the data to be included with each image. You can use both [nivo] and [bw_cycle] to create the slider. The parameters to the shortcodes are mostly interchangeable.
