displaying price on template page in ecommerce plugin

  • i started using wordpress ecommerce plugin and preparing a theme from it
    now i want to display my products price on a template(any page). i am using code

    <?php echo wpsc_the_product_price(); ?>

    to display price on template page but its displaying $0.00

    prices are displaying well from wpsc-single_product.php

    what to do..??
