Displaying recent post teaser plugin?

Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone knows of a good plugin that will let me display the first “teaser” paragraph of my most recent entry (and a link to the full entry) on a page outside of my wordpress blog. I tried installing the Customizable Post Listings plugin, but I couldn’t figure out if it was what I needed.

Does anyone have any tips? Thanks.
