• Is it possible for your plugin to display subcategories? Right now, even if you create subcategories in Woocommerce, they will all appear a parent tabs in the WooTabbed pages.

I mean, subcategories don’t have to appear as a tab, but as product subcategories that come up when then you click the category tab like it is right now.

Like a normal woocommerce shop page, after you click the subcategory icon and title, it displays the products that are listed inside that subcategory.

Click on Real Estate category to see subcategories inside those

Example: My normal shop page (which is not visible to public on our company website)
(but the subcategories and products will appear under the WooTabbed tabs)

If your PRO version already includes this function, then we can go ahead and purchase, but I need to confirm before purchase.

    Thanks for your feedback.

For this plugin we wanted to keep everything on the same page. Adding Subcategory would require moving to another page to show the sub categories when the main category is clicked. So this feature is not included yet in the pro version.

But now you got me thinking – maybe we can give an option to show only the parent categories at top and then show another set of tabs for the sub categories below the main category tabs. Will that work for you?

Also, you can exclude categories that you don’t want to show from the Woo Tabbed pro settings.

    Thanks

Yes, that would also work as well as long as it is organized format, but may be tedious if there are lots of subcategories or parent categories

or if possible, it would best to work like regular woocommerce, where you click on the parent tab and shows subcategories, then when you click on the subcategories, like an iframe, it displays products within that subcategory, but the top tabs and page are still on the same page, but only the container display or subcategories/products changes. (Although I do not recommend using iframes, just an example effect, can be used with jquery or any coding that has the same effect as iframe)

We are checking the best way to handle this.

Many thanks for all the feedback.

How can we display subcategories under parent categories? Any updates? Whether it is free or pro

This should be a basic feature since woocommerce naturally can display subcategories and/or products all at once, but WooTabbed seems to have eliminated that function

    Hi Carol,

We are working on this feature for the pro version since it is quite comlplicated and needs to be handled with AJAX which the free version does not support. I will let you know once it is ready. Hopefully by next week.

    Thanks

Okay, thanks, please let me know so we can consider upgrading to the pro version if necessary

We have opted to show the sub categories as drop down menus. We are doing some final testing. Will release tomorrow. Please email quantumcloud @ gmail . com and we will contact you.

    Thanks!
