Displaying the post thumbnail for children pages

I am just about ready to launch a site and I just realized the script I have for some “subpages”, that is doing a nice job listing a link, thumbnail and description on my parent page templates, is not just pulling the featured image thumbnail, but the original largest size image, and re-sizing it to 100 x 100 px. I’m trying to rework it but confusing myself with the “get post thumbnail” and then “display post thumbnail” in the context of this query.
