displaying variable description in email

    Hi.

    Sorry for posting this here, it’s slightly off topic and have not been able to find the answer anywhere.

    Do you know of a way to show the variable description in the woo commerce emails?

    Am not using the plugin, am using WooCommerce 2.5.5, but am hoping someone may have the answer as this plugin adds the same feature pre WC 2.4.

    I’m able to edit the email template to show custom fields from a product in an order, but can’t find how to display the variable description.

    Any advice would be HUGELY appreciated.

    Hi,

    Adding variable description to an email isn’t available in a plugin. It’s something that would require custom coding.

    Thought so, thanks for replying anyway.

    Am trying to work out the custom code, can display custom fields in an email template, it’s just the specific variable description I’m having problems targeting.
