I updated from Disqus 2.87 to 3.0.7, and now i can′t sync comments with the local data base unless i’m a Pro subscriber, i’m a plus subscriber.

In the Disqus website that change is not shown or mentioned, you should make that clear.

And you should warn the users that upgrade thet they will lose the ability to sync comments.

Can you email support with the debug information? You shouldn’t need a Pro account to sync comments unless you get more than 1000/hour

hi, it ask me “You must have a Site Shortname, API Secret Key, and API Access Token configured to enable this feature.”

But to get access to API Secret Key and API Access Token i must be a PRO user

You shouldn’t need to be a pro user to get those. It sounds like you haven’t gone through the “Install” part yet. Click the Install tab and then finish the questions/instructions to get everything set up. Then you should see the syncing option available.

    Ok, thanks
I did not have a “install” tab but I clicked in reinstall and it worked, thanks.

    Perfect, thanks for the followup!

I have the same issue and have generated the API codes after finding someone else who had the same issue (I think you need to give people clear instructions as to how to generate the codes here) however when I click on: Enable Auto Syncing it does not work
