Disqus comments missing in posts, but they appear in moderation menu

New Disqus comments made on my website no longer appear underneath posts. Using a custom widget for “Latest Comments”, I can see the comments that should be underneath posts appear there confirming they were made, but they are missing where they should be. Those missing comments also appear when I go into Disqus admin to moderate them.
What would be the cause of this? I feel like this started happening when the new WordPress version 5.3.2 was installed.
Other information:
– Theme: Newspaper
– PHP Version: 7.3.12I tried disabling all plugins and reinstalling them, and previous comments that were missing gradually appeared several minutes afterwards, but it was difficulty to pinpoint the possible cause because of this.

There should be 1 Disqus comment, which can be seen on the “Latest Comments” tab to the right, but it is missing where it should be.
