    Hello,
When setting up or configuring the 2FA per user, I discovered that there are problems with the correct screen layouts with the instructions for the users at the very bottom of their profiles. See indication on a screen copy attached: https://prnt.sc/XP7CjVCGRKf_
Previously, this was not the case. Perhaps in an update, some things were set wrong for the screen layouts?
    Can this be rectified, please?
However, I have not encountered any further problems for the operation of 2FA. It is only with the screen layout.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards.

    Hi @alainmelsens,

I hope you are keeping well and thank you for reaching out to us.

I checked this on a test website at my end but was unable to replicate the issue. Please check the following screenshot: https://ibb.co/VBfrm0j

The issue appears specific to your website. Can you please try clearing all the cache enabled on the website and see if you still notice the issue?

If the issue persists, could you please check if an error is being reported in the browser console?

Here is how you can check for errors in the browser console: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/advanced-administration/debug/debug-javascript/

Please let us know the results.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

    Hi Nebu,
First of all, thank you for your quick reply.
I followed all the steps: tested with different browsers, cleared the cache, etc. The problem continues to occur. Indeed, according to the browser console, several script errors have been detected. See screen copy: https://prnt.sc/jaaDYFs25rAd
    What can I do next?
    Kind Regards.

    Hi,
I tested it on another website and indeed, there I don’t have this problem. Perhaps it is due to another plugin causing conflicts with JavaScript, among other things.
How can I know which plugin is causing the problem? Disable all other plugins and then reactivate them one by one until that problem occurs?
    Kind Regards.

    Hi @alainmelsens,

Indeed, according to the browser console, several script errors have been detected.

Upon reviewing the provided screenshot, it appears that those are not errors but logs generated from scripts on the website.

Since the issue is specific to this website, it should be indeed a plugin or theme causing a conflict and causing the issue. To debug the issue further, please perform a complete conflict test. That is – deactivate all the plugins except Defender and check if that helps to resolve the issue. If yes, reactivate all the plugins one at a time and check at which point the issue re-appears. You need to do the same with the theme as well.

I hope the following guide comes in handy: https://wpmudev.com/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#conflict-test

I hope that helps. Please let us know the results so that we can guide you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

    Hi,
Through deactivating all plugins except Defender and then reactivating 1 after 1, I found the plugin that was causing the disrupted screen layout. It is correct that it was definitely not a problem of the Defender plugin itself.
The plugin that was the cause was indeed outdated. It indeed contained a lot of JavaScript.
After some searching, I found a more recent similar plugin. This one works fine for what I need it for and does not conflict with the Defender plugin. The screen layout during “2FA” configuration now remains perfectly vertically represented as it should be.
So the problem is perfectly solved thanks to your excellent advice.
You guys have a very fast and accurate support.
Sincere thanks for your very efficient help.
    Ticket may be closed.
Best Regards and thanks again! 5 stars?????
