Distance between Socialmedia buttons and blogpost

    Hello world!

    I′ve done my first steps in wordpress and use the Rowling theme which is verry nice in my opinion. I′am not a programming expert and searched in google a few hours, but could not find a real solution that worked for my problem. Maybe I′am also not a google expert. :-/

    My problem is a big distance between social media buttons and the headline of my post. I think there are problems with the shariff privancy plugin. The distance varies on each post. Sometimes it is much bigger than in the example.

  • Hi Matthias,

    that definitely looks like a mix up of the CSS between that Shariff plugin from Yanniks and your theme.

    Since that plugin is mostly dead, you might want to try out the other Shariff plugin (https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/shariff/), which I’m one of the developers of. If you have any trouble with our one, feel free to post in our support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/shariff

    It is 00:30AM now and you solved my problem in minutes. Thank you!
    Now I can sleep.

    What I′ve done for beginners:
    -Menu–>Plugins–>installed plugins–>shariff (deactivate)
    -Menu–>Plugins–>install–>searched “Shariff Wrapper” –>install
    -Menu–>Plugins–>installed plugins–>shariff wrapper–>activate –>preferances–>choose buttons I want–>checkbox wehre I want the buttons–>save settings–> smile
