Hello Daniele: A week ago I changed my theme because the previous one was old and did not go well with your glossary. My hope of returning to CodeAt was the first test I did. I activated it and it takes well my more than 2000 terms with its categories.

The reason I write is that when reading an article, when you pass the mouse over the speed with which the popups appear, it interrupts the flow of the reading visually.

I send you an example with both products through the private of Daniele Face.
The big question is: is it possible to fix that?

  • The tooltip mode is one of the various mode available.
Did you checked the settings and changed with Only link?
This will be change the behaviour removing the tooltips and leaving only the link.

I was finding out in the CM Tooltip Plugin and what makes it more fluid the way it shows the terms is that they set 0.5 seconds for the Tooltip to appear while in the case of CodeAt it is instantaneous … and that’s what It makes the visualization as annoying as in the video that I sent you for face.

If you did the same in your product, the visualization would be less annoying.
The videos that I sent you are the proof.

Another situation is that it is in conflict with ALL the videos inserted from youtube on the page, leaving a blank space.
    See Printscreen: https://www.sonria.com/video-2/

If you can solve it, I will place the Plugin again.

Now I understood you are talking about the animation on showing the tooltip.
For the video if I open the link I am redirected to an image.

So let’s address the problem of this support request, the animation. This can be removed or changed the timing with CSS, I need to know what design of tooltip you was using because everyone one has different animation and timing.

The second one need to be verified better because there are 2 way to inject youtube videos on wordpress with a link and automatically and oembed is generated (the way we are using for testing) and putting manually the HTML code. What are you using for them?

In this and almost all the 2000 examples I will add an object in wordpress and then the option Insert from URL I place the short link that youtube gives you, which in the case of this term is this: https://youtu.be/danWmWW2sZw

Seems that now you are using another plugin and not our for the glossary, we don’t support other plugins.

I activated it again. The reason is that people complain if they do not see the vidos on the page.
If you are not going to do it today PLEASE LET ME NOTICE, I can not leave the whole weekend without watching the videos.

I checked now and as I can see it is like before.
The best will be to have the plugin enabled on monday so we can check but with the free plan our reply time can change based on how much we are busy with other stuff.
