For reasons that need not detain us, I would like to suppress the wiki-cats that appear at the bottom of the page.

Inspecting the HTML looking for a class or ID I could use to create a suppressive CSS selector I found that the wiki-tag link in a div declared thus:

    <div style="float:right" ;="">

What is that ;="" ? (I did try to google it!)

Could you consider giving that div an explicit class or ID in future?

    Thanks,

    Julian

    Hi Julian,

The output of the category is something in the theme. If you are using the wiki page template for Divi, then you can go into it and just delete where it outputs the tag, if one exists. It is around lines 105-107 in “single-yada_wiki.php”. That file is not included in the plugin, so an update won’t change it. Will that work or is this in relation to something else?

    Best,

    David

    Hi David,

Thank you for digging that out for me. It worked just fine: I corrected the typo in single-yada_wiki.php and gave it a class “wiki_tags_after_content”, then styled it away.

(Questions from the ignorant to the patient: if single-yada_wiki.php is not from the plugin, how did it get into my (active) child theme – did Divi do it? If so, when, how? What’s to stop it being overwritten?)

I really like your plugin. Simple and effective… I keep thinking about extra features and have to tell myself: don’t overcomplicate it!

    Best regards

    Hi Julian,

I created the page “single-yada_wiki.php” for you (and myself since I also use Divi) and you downloaded it from my website. Because it is in the child theme’s folder it won’t be overwritten when you update Divi.

Thanks for letting me know about a typo. I’ll check that on my site too.

    Best regards,

    David
