I had CleanTalk active on this website with my personal web email address, and the contact form worked fine. Once I changed the form over to my clients Gmail, it stopped working. Currently, it will not let you submit the data. When you click submit, it does nothing.

When I disable CleanTalk, it works fine with the Gmail. I am using WP Mail SMTP with my site to help with the mail. I also use WP Optimize to help with condensing the database and cache. I have this same set-up with Clean Talk, Wp Mail SMTP, WP Optimize and using Gmail accounts for the contact form on several other clients sites and they works fine, but for some reason this site is not.

    Please help.

    Hello,

I’ve tested contact form on your website and received JavaScript errors from ReCaptcha. Could you try to disable ReCaptcha?

    Thank you for responding.

I had already disabled and removed the Google ReCaptcha plugin, prior to contacting you guys.

I went and reloaded the Google ReCaptcha Plugin, deactivated cleantalk and reactivated the Google ReCaptcha. I logged into the API Console and removed the website from the Google ReCaptcha and deleted the stored information on the website. Deactivated the Google ReCaptcha Plugin and reactivated CleanTalk. I filled out the form and it worked only one time. I reloaded and tried again and now it is doing the same thing as what I mentioned above.

Okay, I think I figured it out! Thank you so much for sharing about it being the Google ReCaptcha. That gave me the direction I needed to look into that.

Come to find out, I originally tried to use the native ReCaptcha on Divi (which sucks) and the website was still added in the contact form, even though the Google ReCaptcha was turned off. For some reason it was still tripping out the form.

It seems to be working on all of the pages the form is on now. Thank you again! CleanTalk is the best Anti-Spam plugin to date and your guys customer support is awesome. Thank you!

    We were happy to help.

I been having this problem for months. This is First post on the web about this
I have wp rocket and cleantalk
I’ve spent months enabling, disabling, updating, and hours and hours of troubleshooting.
I may have to move away from the divi form because i need both anti spam AND caching

Any recommendations on a form solution that works with Clean talks and wp rocket?

Same months and months of troubleshooting.
    No solution
    WP rocket
    clean talk
    wordfence

I belive the combo of the 3 is the problem, I’ve tried disabling one or the other, updating themes, plugins….

    Hello, @workbea, @vbranded

Please, check if the next option set to “Yes” instead of “Auto”.

wp-admin -> Plugins -> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk -> Advanced settings -> Data processing -> Use static keys for JS check

    Did it help?

Hi @alexandergull Thanks so much. with so much time into this, I’ve replaced Divi forms with Google forms embed temporarily until I find spam filtering as good as CleanTalk. (I have a paid version)
My tech stack is below (which I use on many many sites) on 3 sites I use Cleantalk because the spam was overwhelming the client. We couldn’t get it to stop. Since implementing Clean talk- the forms aren’t submitting. You hit submit and nothing happens or the page just refreshes. I’m in a predicament where I can’t allow the spam to come back but I HAVE to get forms through — they get forms daily.
The other sites don’t have this issue. I must be honest though– I deactivated all the plugins and left clean talk and it still happened. I have a hunch it could be a caching issue too… Literally, hundreds of hours trying to diagnose. WHAT I LOVE is the fact that if the form doesn’t submit, CleanTalk captures the form information. So I spent so much time re-entering form data that never got sent.

Any help would be so appreciated in solving this issue. It still happens with the inquiry from the catalog so I’m still re keying form data
