• I am using the DIVI page builder but having problems uploading images to the media library from within the image module when the Enhanced Media Library plugin is installed. Is there something I can do to fix this and allow images to be uploaded?

  • The plugin has apparently been abandoned. There have been no updates and the author isn’t answering support questions.

I get around the upload problem by typing gibberish into the filename box and, after it doesn’t find anything, the upload window opens.

    Hi @murraymarmoset and @devaghost,

If you still have any interest in Enhanced Media Library, could you please be so kind as to check if its latest version 2.8.1 works with the Divi theme? Thank you!

    Best,

    Hello Nadia,

Glad that you are still with us. The upload problem noted above was the only problem I had and that has been fixed. I use EML on a Woocommerce site and I’ve not noticed any problems with that either.

I have to say that I searched and searched for a replacement for EML, tried every other media manager plugin and nothing comes close to EML. I even tried using three different plugins at the same time and couldn’t replicate EML’s functionality.

    Hello @devaghost,

I feel really bad about putting you personally and a lot of people in trouble with the plugin. Again, my sincere apologies.

Thank you for confirming that the updated plugin works well for you.

I hope to see you among volunteers for testing v3.0-beta that will be available soon. I believe you’ll like it.

As for the Divi theme, another customer provided a test environment, there are some problems that will be solved within v3.0.

My problem was minor (hitting random characters on the keyboard and one extra mouse click). The time I spent looking for a replacement was my fault for not having a backup plan and relying on a single-source. My fear was that the next major wordpress update would make EML not work at all and that’s something I should have considered earlier in the build process. In an international market, political instability can affect anyone (I live in the US and, well…lol). People get sick. People die. (I am very happy to see that you’re alive and do hope that you are well.)

I beta test for three other developers and am happy to beta test your next version.

    David

PS Again, EML is far superior to any other media manager plugin on the market.
