I am using Divi and saw that you have created a Videopress module to implement a Videopress hosted video on a Divi site. I would like to use a cover image with that module. How can I do that?

Hello @irrationalcoach – I was trying to find an option to add cover picture in VideoPress video in Divi but I don’t see any options there in VideoPress module.

Since this module is created by Divi, you can once check with them how you can add cover picture in VideoPress which are getting added using Divi VideoPress module. In case if they don’t support it, I think it’s a good feature request for them to add an option for it.

I was asking them and they told me that the module was created by Automattic Inc which is the company behind WordPress and Jetpack. Who can I contact who is responsible?

Hello there – I just talked to our team and it appears we added it around a year ago.

There is currently no direct option to add image from VideoPress module of Divi but you can do it from WordPress.com dashboard. Please check this screen recording (audio included).

In case you are using Jetpack VideoPress plugin and not Jetpack plugin, then you can update the thumbnail/cover of video following the steps here.

Hello @irrationalcoach – I’m glad I was able to help.

If you have a moment, would you like to leave a review of the plugin here?

    Thank you for using Jetpack!
