    Hi

I’m having the same issue as within this post marked as ‘Resolved’ which is over 1.5yrs old.

The Yoast SEO plugin doesn’t look at the short and long description, it only looks at the text in the divi builder. Has this now been resolved?

    Hello Vannquish,

Thanks for reaching out regarding your product pages.

If I understand correctly, the Yoast SEO analysis does not reckon with text you add as short or long description for your product page. Ideally, the Yoast SEO plugin will analyze the contents added in the WooCommerce short description field.

If you are adding your content through other plugin or theme content boxes (as most page builders do), the plugin may not be able to detect it by default. Currently, we are compatible with the Elementor page builder. The?Yoast SEO Elementor integration?is free to use for everyone; no premium or add-on is required for core functionality.

Thats correct. I’m adding page content over 300 words to the divi page builder but your plugin doesn’t detect it. Does this effect SEO if your plugin cannot read it?

@vannquish Thanks for your reply. No, the plugin being unable to detect the content will not affect the SEO of the page, as Google is still able to read the content output on the page.
