Divi slider problem after update to 2.6.2

That’s surprising as the changes in 2.6.2 are pretty minor ..

First and foremost try to identify what specifically is breaking the image by just disabling CSS or JS or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next step should be.

I’ve performed several test. Still the issue is with the slider module of Divi. First of all, the issue happens only when publishing NEW posts (if I disable Autoptimize, so that the image then load correctly, then I re-enable it, the image continues to appear an works correctly)

Tried disabling Javascript, CSS, HTML optimization as well as lazy loading (also with different combinations), but none has effect. Among one test and the other, I flushed both the browser cache as well as Autoptimize cache. The only proven soultion to fix the issue is disable the plugin.

I also tried to reinstall V2.6.1, but using it the problem does not appears at all (publishing new post works correctly), so, even if the modifications introduced by V2.6.2 are minor, the issue is related to the V2.6.2.

I’ll need to see the slider broken somehow/ somewhere in order to help troubleshoot this further Max, do you have a staging site somewhere where you could leave things broken for a while?

@maxbelloni can you confirm this still happens on Divi 4.3.4?

Currently there are several test ran by the shipwreck crew, so it is not possible to perform further test. In any case I confirm that the issue happened with Divi V4.3.4
