Last week I updated to 1.22. When I edit an page on my site with Divi Theme, I get an error with access denied. Looking in the log files I see that /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php is ending in a http/403 error.

When I go back to version 1.15 the error no longer occurs and I can edit pages normally.

    Hey @arnieh,

Can you please verify if 1.2.3 solves the issue? I added the save_epanel action to the excluded actions.

Otherwise if it still happens, please provide some details about your current settings so i can try to replicate it.

    Best Regards,
    Darko

Thanks for helping me with this case, but unfortunately the fix didn’t work.

On the settings page, I have only one country in the whitelist. The admin page, xmlrpc, login page, plugins area and theme area are blocked by country. Just for testing I both enabled and disabled the admin-ajax/post block-by-country option but again I get a http/403 on admin-ajax.php when I use version 1.2.3 of the IP-location-block plugin.

My own ip-address is on the whitelist.

On the statistics page under the ‘slug in back-end’ column there is an entry which might help you:
    ‘/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php action=et_builder_resolve_post_content’

Next to the ‘Admin ajax/post’ option, there is an ‘Exceptions’ pull-down menu. In that pull-down menu there is a long list but no option for ‘et_builder_resolve_post_content’, so I pasted this text manually. After that I tried again saving a page in the Divi-editor, but again I received a http/403. In the statistics page a new entry appearded: ‘/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php action=et_fb_ajax_save’.

By manually adding ‘et_builder_resolve_post_content, et_fb_ajax_save’ in the exceptions-box everything works!

A related question comes up: when I just enter my ip-address in that box, the error is still there, but with the above mentioned two entries it works. Why doesn’t it work with my ip-address as an exception?

    Hey @arnieh,

Glad that you were able to figure out the Divi issue.

Related to the IP address related issue, this is added to our backlog for the next version.

Please open separate thread for the ip address issue.

    Best Regards,
    Darko
