Divi theme and search

    I installed mega menu this morning. I followed the Divi theme integration docs, then continued on with other issues I kept finding. By the end of the day got it about 90% working. There’s a few more things to iron out handling responsive issues. But there’s one that I’m not sure how to handle.

    Divi has a search option in the menu, and when selected wipes the menu down and replace the nav bar with a search box. I haven’t seen anything about this in the documentation.

    What I see now is a very narrow search box appearing at the far right. Then when the windows get more and more narrow, this search option’s problem gets to worse and worse.

    Is there a solution? A work around?

    Hi Jim,

    The Divi search is integrated with the Divi menu, so replacing the Divi menu means the search box cannot make the calculations it needs to make. Therefore the divi search doesn’t work properly when you replace the divi menu.

    The Divi child theme (https://www.maxmegamenu.com/documentation/divi/) completely replaces the menu and search for this reason (among others).
