    Hello.

I am using 360 View (Version 0.3.0) with WordPress 5.5.3 and Divi Theme Version 4.6.6.

Using a text module and typing in the basic shortcode you mentioned in your description.

Everything works fine, but the viewport keeps black.

You can rotate the image but it is still not shown.

Do you have an idea or advice for me to fix the problem?

    Thank you in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Marcus,

Apologies for the late response. It looks like you already switched to a different plugin and it works for you. Please let me know if you will want to give 360 view another try and can send a link to a page using Divi Theme and 360-view plugin.

Comparing to what you’re using now 360-view provides a few benefits:
    – 360 View works on mobile devices. I tried to open your page on iPhone using Chrome and Safari and the images didn’t load. Given that nowadays more than 50% of website traffic comes from mobile devices, this might be a problem for your business.
    – The latest version of 360 View supports video, a good addition to your portfolio
    – 360 View gives you more customizations. For instance, you can add text labels to your pictures.
    – If you look at the images embedded on your page with the current plugin, you will see how they stretch near the left and right edge of the image. This is especially visible on the first image if you look how the shape of the paving stones gets distorted near the edges. This is happening because the FOV (field of View) parameter is not set correctly for your images. You can adjust this parameter in 360 View and correct this problem.

As for the “black screen” problem with 360 View it could happen for two reasons:
    – The URL of the image you’re trying to embed is incorrect (for instance you made a typo in the file name)
    – The image is corrupted
I can provide more information if I can see an example on your website.

I really liked your photos, great post-processing! Will try to see these places if I have a chance to visit Düsseldorf.

    Viel Glück!
    Andrey
