If I insert a video module into my page with an MP4 video it plays beautifully. However, If I make the section a popup, the video and audio then play out of sync. Is this a known issue, and if so, how do I fix it please?

I checked and confirmed on our test site and found no issue with the popup having MP4 videos added via the video module.

Could you please upload another MP4 video to your site and confirm?

At best, your example is very poor. How are you supposed to tell if the audio and video are out of sync with a video of a waterfall? You need a video of someone talking to test this out realistically.
I’ve tried other videos and the same thing happens. I can’t give you a link to demonstrate this problem because we’ve had to abandon the idea of using a popup due to this issue.

    Hi @johnwebman,

I apologize for the inconvenience and do respect your feedback. Alright, no issue; let me add a video with someone speaking to test and confirm your issue.

Here goes the popup with an MP4 video of a person speaking.

As you can see, there is no issue with the video and audio synchronization; it’s working perfectly fine.

When I try that link I just get a 404 page

    Hi @johnwebman,

I apologize for the inconvenience. It could have become inactive while I was working on another task during maintenance and testing.

Alright, no issue; I have checked and confirmed the link status.

Please recheck and confirm the same URL.

    Hi Rohit,

I checked your link and the video and audio are out of sync, just like I found.
So I tried it on another device and it played perfectly. This means that the issue is with my laptop. I’m not sure what the issue could be but I’m sure there’ll be a solution somewhere on the internet.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi @johnwebman,

I completely understand, and it’s totally fine.

I appreciate your confirmation. If you require any further assistance, feel free to contact me. Thank you. ??
