• I am trying to use the different domains feature.

Our main site is at iSails.com, with a default language of English and translations in it, es , fr.

We own iSails.it iSails.es iSails.fr , and they are hosted at a different host provider (OVH, who provides localized IP addresses) than our iSails.com main site (HostGator).

WE understand we need to point the it , es, fr domains at the .com domain, and specifically at the directory that content the index file.

    Our questions are:
-1- what type of redirect can use at the it , es , fr domains hosted at OVH to point them at the .com domain hosted at hostgator?

-2- a the .com provider what type of DNS entry do we need to create so that requests coming form the es, it, fr domains are directed to the correct directory ?

  • Did you manage to find an answer to this.

I am looking to do something very similar.

    I have two domains https://www.mysite.co.uk & https://www.mysite.nl

I don’t know whether I should be adding the .nl domain as it’s own site in my shared hosting package, or whether I should be adding it to the .co.uk site as an addon domain, a redirect or an alias.

    Confused!!
