DNS record type: SPF is deprecated, I think you should update the plugin to let it find txt record for SPF.

    Hi @taogor,

Thanks for reaching out! Did you receive that error when adding an SPF record or when sending a test email?

Once I receive more information, I can inform our developers.

    Thanks!

The SPF record type was deprecated in RFC 7208 and is no longer supported. Consider using a TXT record instead. (Code: 9218)

    Hi @taogor,

As I have checked with our developers, SPF records are still widely used.

According to the MXToolBox article, the cause of the warning is “The use of alternative DNS RR types that was formerly supported during the experimental phase of SPF was discontinued in 2014. SPF records must now only be published as a DNS TXT (type 16) Resource Record (RR) [RFC1035]”.

So please check and make sure that the format of the SPF record you set is TXT.

You can also read more information from here.

    Thanks!
