I’m afraid that most people don’t look for a confirmation email and often it ends up in spam. Once confirmed, then they see a response (but after quite a delay). Is there any way that their subscription could be ongoing, as in, to subscribe to each of the comments they make on that site? Or do they have to confirm by email every single time?

I tried to implement the simple sum captcha, but it didn’t actually show on the comment section anywhere, not sure why.

I think the developer might not reply to questions, but does anyone else have the answer?

    Cheers

    Ellie

    Hi,

In WP admin > StCR > Options there’s the option “Enable double check”, disabling that disables the confirmation functionality and activates the subscription immediately.

In WP admin > StCR > Comment Form the option “Checked by default” can be set to “Yes” which will make it so when someone leaves a comment they’ll be subscribed automatically (unless they specifically disable the subscription checkbox in the comment form).

Just below that option is “Subscription type”, that can be changed to “Replies to this comment” so they only get subscribed for notification on the comments they leave, not all comments (on that post).
