Do Created Themes Need Periodic Security Patches?

  • Hello, this is my absolute favorite WordPress plugin ever. It has saved my sanity, by stripping away every single bit of theme bloatware, and allowing me to work on my site in HTML and CSS. Thank you!

    Question: If “MyTheme” I created with HTML-WP has been in use for a few months, do I need to update “MyTheme” periodically with security patches? If so, how would I do that? Thank you again.

    Thank You @mary-m-kearney for your valuable feedback. You absolutely need no update or security for your theme. but if you want to secure more your wordpress site you can also use security plugins if you want.
