    Hi!

I’m trying to connect my contact form (CF7) with your plugin so it pulls straight into Mailchimp. I have a beautiful newsletter opt-in at the footer of my site (hidden behind a coming soon page unfortunately) with ‘name’ ’email’ and ‘submit’ being the only options for the user.

Is there anyway to connect this to mailchimp without needing to add that checkbox? It’s the only solution I can find, but it ruins the look of it, and it’s not really needed, as they’re filling in the box to sign up to the mailing list, so the checkbox would be redundant anyway. (If they unchecked it, there’d be no point filling in the fields!)

Hope that makes sense! I want to use your plugin if I can as it is recommended by Mailchimp.

    Thanks, Charlie

You can use a hidden field / custom integration instead of the standard checkbox. See: https://kb.mc4wp.com/add-sign-checkbox-custom-form/

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!

    Hi!
    That worked great thanks!

I don’t suppose you know how to configure it so it doesn’t try and re-subscribe someone who may enter their email address, forgetting they’re already on my list?

Your form does that perfectly with a message that comes up, but unfortunately my wordpress theme only integrates with CF7.

    Thanks!

Because of the way the integration works in the background it can’t communicate anything back to CF7.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!

    Yeah I understand!

I don’t suppose you know if mailchimp can do any kind of automation email for someone who accidentally resubscribes at all? I’ve found stuff when I search mailchimp but not really sure what to do…

No worries if not I know it’s nothing to do with you!

Probably better to ask MailChimp for support directly.
