Do I need to activate “Custom Header Image” upload feature?

  • For the life of me, I cannot get the Custom Header Image upload feature to work – on a variety of different themes which have this feature.

    Here are the details: I go to the Custom Header Image admin page (part of the Presentation tab), choose a photo, and click upload… The file does, in fact, upload to my server. But after that, the Custom Header Image admin page goes blank below the dashboard… The page is finished loading, but there’s nothing on it other than the dashboard. I never get to the “cropping” page, and the uploaded image does not appear on my blog.

    Do I need to activate this feature or something? Is there something I’m doing wrong?

    I’ve tried some solutions… I have uninstalled and reinstalled themes. I even uninstalled and reinstalled WP from the ground up on my server! I’ve done all the CHMOD changing I can.. to 777. I am completely out of ideas…

    Anyone got any suggestions? I will try anything!! Please help me! Thank you!
