Do I really need the APP permissions? FB rejected them

I’m really confused… this plugin worked beautifully a year ago. Now my website is no longer connected to Facebook. Trying to re-add it following the setup information dives so deep… Facebook thinks I’m trying to create my own app. That’s not the case, I just want to use this plugin. I’m terribly confused at the complication behind this simple need to link Facebook to my website.

Request the following permissions and supply any other information Facebook requests:
publish_actions (required to add links)
user_groups (required to add links to groups)
manage_pages (required to add links to pages)
read_stream (required to show a Facebook activity feed in a widget)

Trying to add the above items to Authorize the plugin opens Pandora’s Box into making an official request to Facebook to explain this plugin like I’m its creator.

Has anyone else encountered this rabbit hole?

the facebook has changed its API, thus there is a change in the way plugin connects and required permissions. What error message you are getting while authorizing?

The point is not what error I am getting, but do I really must apply for so many app permissions?

anyway, I fill all the FB pointless requests for the permissions, anyway the reject response I get is:

On an old blog it still works fine (never requested any permissions). On a new one can’t establish without requesting permissions, but it’s impossible for me to request…
