Do not allow the certificate to be generated until you pass the final test

    Do we have this functionality available?

    We want users to not be able to access certificates until we review the final test results for each course. Currently, by submitting the test attachment, they can already complete the lesson and advance to the certificate.

    We want users to not be able to access certificates until we review the final test results for each course.

    For this, you need to mark the quiz attached to the final lesson as manual grading. Once the learner completes the course they will need to wait for the quiz to be graded before they get access to the certificate.

    If the quiz is set to auto-grade then the learners can complete the course and get access to the certificate immediately.

    What if a quiz is set to “pass required”? Does it still create a certificate if the pass threshold isn’t met?

    Nope, a certificate is created whenever the course is marked as complete. If there are quizzes in the course that has “pass required” enabled and the student does not get the required grades then the course/lesson is considered incomplete.
