• This product hasn’t been updated in over a year and it has stopped working properly with the latest versions of WordPress.
Support is none existent, so if you need support (and you will need it) good luck.

The slider has started to fail to display properly in Chrome and other Chrome based browsers, plus it’s no longer playing nice with cache plugins such as WP-Rocket.
I went ahead and purchased SmartSlider, it has most of the features this had and it’s updated constantly, you will have perhaps a little learning curve but you’ll thank yourself.
Avoid this product until they update it.

  • Smart Slider is pretty heavy on load speed for a site, but if you’re making a site using a builder instead of using code then it will be slower anyway. The pro forums for Master Slider is where the help is, not the free forum.

Master Slider was last updated 3 months ago. Probably a couple weeks after you made this post.

@jonm511 Smart Slider has been pretty fast on our site, you just need to play with the configuration and the optimization, just don’t leave it at its defaults.

Regarding support for Master Slider lol, please don’t make me laugh, I was a paying customer for over 4 years and not even ONCE was I able to get support from them from their so-called Pro forums.

Trust me I know the free forums are not where paying customers should ask for support, still, several times when I went there to ask for support all I ever got was, disable all your plugins, then enable then back all one by one.

The problem was NEVER related to other plugins, it was THEIR plugin not being compatible with cache plugins or just plain not working properly. They NEVER even try to access my site to take a look.

Then the last few times I went there it was like a ghost town, nobody from support was answering any tickets at all.

It seems that recently they have updated the plugin again, so I’m glad for that. Finally, their customers might actually get at least a working product again.
