We originally bought this product because it was less expensive than Woo Commerce’s similar plugin.

The first problem we encountered was the inability to manually adjust a customer’s subscription end date – if we wanted to reward any of our users with a free month. When I inquired – I was told they could custom code our request. I countered that it was one of the most logical needs for any company selling subscriptions.

But that wasn’t the worst of it. We ended up switching to Woo Commerce’s subscription plugin. Then I found out that WPSwings plugin by DEFAULT is on auto renew – AFTER I received a notification that my annual plan would renew. So I tried to cancel it IMMEDIATELY. Nonetheless my credit card was charged. The company refused to refund my money – even though I removed the plugin from my site. This is INSANE, and bad business. It’s not like I bought some article of clothing that was shipped to me, or bought a car and drove it off the sales lot. This is a SaaS / Subscription product. The decent thing to do is REFUND my money and move on. And it was $109 – for a year. And I used it for ZERO days That is vastly different than if I had used it for a month and asked for a refund of a monthly subscription.

I run a business, and I sell subscriptions. I care and respect our customers – but apparently WPSwings does not. Please do not buy from this company. EVER.

    Hello,

We understand your issue but we have very clearly mentioned on the documentation that whatever features we provide, if you want any extra feature or functionality which is not in the existing plugin, it will be extra work. Because we need to work only for you

For the renewal of the plugin, it’s clearly written on product page it’s per year plan, so you must check the renewal date and time. In case you want to stop that recurring, we always send emails before any renewal. Also we have option to cancel the subscription/renewal in case you don’t want

So we think this must be done from your end, and make sure not renew again not for this or any product

    Thank you

You sent me a reminder at 5:36 am, the day before it renewed. Well, I asked you to stop the renewal. I specifically asked you after you sent me the renewal notice, but BEFORE you charged my credit card. Furthermore, I asked you to cancel the subscription and refund me the money. You also asked my why I cancelled, and I told you that I found another plugin that served our needs better. Again. You did not sell me a physical product that I used, or wore, or drove, and caused it to depreciate from “Mint condition” It was a subscription. You did not incur any cost like shipping, or restocking. The right thing to do is refund me my money for an UNUSED subscription. So why don’t you tell the public how you can rationalize charging somebody for 365 days of a subscription they told you they didn’t need on day ZERO. You are a company that cannot be trusted. BUYER BEWARE!

Furthermore- this has nothing to do with features or functionality. This is all about REFUNDING a user for a cancellation request. I did avail myself of the option to cancel the subscription. Didn’t I? Would you like me to repost our correspondence in public?

For the record I requested cancellation on December 18, 2024. My credit card was charged nonetheless, and although I asked for a refund, WP Swings has refused to return my money- $109.
