• Is it possible to hide all other pages on the site only in the dashboard to those users that do not have access to edit them? I have a very large site with a multiple number of users editing certain pages, so I am curious if it is possible to make it so that all the pages are not appearing in the list in the dashboard (other than those they have access to). Thank you in advance for your time.

  • I am having the same issue. I only want this person to be able to view and edit 2 pages. I have done Settings>Hide complete posts>Yes
    I have done Settings>Hide complete pages>Yes
The person is set to Editor role. I have changed the Minimum user role with full access to Administrator. I am using WordPress 4.7.
    Please help! Thank you.

Can someone please help with this question? I cannot restrict pages for a user!

Pages and post are hidden completely at the backend if the user has no access. So I don’t see the issue. Maybe I don’t get it. A screenshot would be helpful.

Hi Alex, Thank you for getting back to me.

    Here are my steps:
    1) I created a user group “Cats”
    2) The user group “Cats” has Read Access > All, Write Access > only group users. The role affiliation is set to editor.
    3) Next I setup a new user called “Beth”. Is set her role as Editor and Click the
Set up user groups box “Cats”
    4) Next I go to the pages that I want Beth to have access to on the site. In the sidebar box on the page I check the “Cats” box under Access.

When I pull up my full list of pages, all 256 of them, the rest of the read full access, but the 2 I want Beth to edit are listed as “Cats”.

On the UAM Setting pages, I have done Settings>Hide complete posts>Yes
    I have done Settings>Hide complete pages>Yes
The person is set to Editor role. I have changed the Minimum user role with full access to Administrator.

I have used this plugin before and never had this issue. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Alex, do you have a private email I could send questions too? This support forum is taking too long to get my questions answered. I posted my original post almost 3 days ago with no resolution. Thank you!

If all of your groups have role affiliation editor, Beth has access to all groups. And no I will not share my mail for private questions, because this forum is the right place for the questions. I’m not able to give you “personal” support for a free time project, and my replies depend on my other activities. I hope you will understand that.

Ok. So when I install your plugin I need to assign every page on my site to a group or Beth will have access to every page that is not assigned? I have 240 pages on my site, I only want Beth to have access to 2. And I don’t want her to have access to any posts. Right now she can access ALL posts and pages. Thanks.
