Do not show any additional content in woocommerce mails at footer

    Hello,

    I do not want to show any additional content in none of my woocommerce mails (the “thanks for reading” thing). Therefore, I have always had an empty textbox in the woocommerce email settings page in the field “additional content”, which worked perfectly fine: Nothing was ever added to the end of my woocommerce mails.

    After updating woocommerce & php, the text box in my woocommerce email settings is still empty for all emails, but now the placeholder text “thanks for reading” is added in the footer of every mail. How can I get rid of this?

    I understand that “Thanks for reading” is being added to the footer of every email, is this correct?

    Please can you share the following so that we can have a better understanding of what you are seeing on your end, as well as your sites current environment:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Screenshots: Please share a screenshot of an example of the email you are seeing this on, as well as the bottom of the WooCommerce →  Settings →  Emails page, specifically the “Email template” section.

    Once you have these, please share them in your response here.
