• We manage over 200 websites and cannot update any of the sites with your latest Elementor version. There are so many build variations by clients and Elementor is not updating correctly with any of them. Every sampling we do is a BROKEN UPDATE. Having Pro installed makes no difference either. Since this is across the board, for you to say it’s “Us” not “You” is terrible practice. Please, if you value your customers in such a competitive marketplace, please take time to test your updates and either pull this update or fix it really FAST.

PS. If you had your support forums here at the repository, I would have rather posted there instead. I’ll be happy to change my review once this is fixed.

  • Firstly, I honestly don’t care about your review. Secondly, it’s for a client who I’ve “inherited” this system from. Thirdly, frankly, you’re not helpful. At all. That says something about you doesn’t it.

Umm, who are you? You’re welcome to leave your own review and not piggyback on mine :\

Unless of course you have just made a www.ads-software.com account yesterday and are _____________?

That’s why in these cases i always recommend people/devs to test new versions on a stage site locally or a test server. You could also try using wp staging plugin.

Thank you for that—yes, we’re familiar with this process. My concern is that developers have a responsibility to ensure a product is properly tested before going live. In this case, the most basic compatibility tests would have shown the issues. I understand that using a “free” product often means we indirectly serve as their live beta testers, if this level of quality is what we can expect moving forward, it’s something we should seriously consider for future use.

I agree they should atleast do more robust testing so that it doesn’t break on simple things. That being said somewhere i do get they probably use us as beta testers for features/updates. I would probably also do that if i was unsure of my code and want to quickely see where the problems arise and keeping in mind of very tight deadlines. Not something fun to do since you want to make a great product but that is how it goes.

I do apologise Merredith! I thought you were replying to a post of mine!!

@pennineseo No worries ?? and good luck getting back up and running again!!

    Hello Meredith,

Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be to experience issues after an update, and we truly value the trust you’ve placed in Elementor across so many websites.

While we strive to ensure compatibility with as many plugins as possible, it’s important to note that with thousands of plugins in the WordPress ecosystem—and countless combinations of configurations—it’s impossible to test every single scenario. That said, we do work closely with major plugin developers to ensure smoother updates on both sides.

We’re actively monitoring feedback and are committed to addressing any reported issues as quickly as possible. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to review our Knowledge Base for solutions to common problems.

Your feedback helps us improve, and we’re here to assist you in resolving any issues you’re experiencing. We hope to restore your confidence in Elementor soon!
