Do not use!
-
If you’re wondering whether to use Elementor for your site, then consider this:
- Elementor requires 128MB memory limit minimum. But realistically even a small website could reach a point where it will need 512MB. To have a page editor that requires half a gigabyte of memory isn’t just unreasonable, it is wasteful and indicates incompetence.
- Official support page actually claims that other plugins might be at fault, and you should just turn them off one by one in order to “spot the problematic plugin”. This is dishonest, since the thing that stops working is the editor itself and the reason is well known. It’s not logical to claim that the fault is in other plugins when Elementor tries to allocate enormous amount of memory.
You might end up in a situation where you’ve created your website, but Elementor simply stops working, and your hosting doesn’t allow more that 256MB. Changing hosting just because of an editor is something new in the world of web development.
