    Maybe there should be some kind of warning when you are going to import posts, comments etc.. This plugin will email an author on every comment_insert call. So, if you are importing your comments from another website, it will send all the people that once posted a comment a new email. Because of this, about 900 e-mails got send to visitors of my clients website. A lot of question were asked because of this. Watch out ya’ll.

    I’m sorry to hear that – the behavior was expected because the email notification is hooked into wp_insert_comment, which is always called when a comment is created.

    I think the alert is a good idea.
