    Hello,

I use this plugin since several years and it was all good. Since v6.0, the sticky element doesn’t stop at the bottom margin.

I tried the “Test new version” checkbox but it is worse : the element widget moves over the other which are above.

    I think I will downgrade.

    Thank you for your help.

I’ve just downgraded in 5.3 and all is OK.
    Thomas, maybe a bug in v6.0 ?

    Hi Tom,

    thanks for reaching out.

I would need to see the problem in action. Would that be possible?

Also, another user reported that clearing their site cache fixed the issue.

To all others: I would also like to look at your site. Please open separate issues here in the forum so that I could do that.

@hamidpeya Fixed Widget does not have a file script.js. The issue you see must come from another plugin or your theme.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hello Thomas,

    I’ve updated in 6.0.1

I’ve tried to clear cache (WP Rocket) but it is the same.

I will come back in 5.3 tomorrow morning. If you want to check in the meantime : the margin bottom is not good (test new version not activated)

    Kind regards

It’s working, you need to unmark the ‘Test new version’ in the settings. Try it and you will see it is working.

I dont know if I should open a new thread about the following, when passing the fixed widget down the page so it is sitcky, when scrolling up using a mouse wheel it stutters around the fixed widget. It does not scroll above it smoothly when using a mouse wheel.

    Hey @tomyummix,

thanks for giving us the chance to check the current version.

I think we know what causes the issue with the stop at the bottom not working as before and have an idea for the update next week on how to fix it.

Thanks for your support and help!

    Hello Thomas,

    Thank you for your reply.

I’ve just upgraded in 6.0.2 but it is the same. If you want to check : https://yummix.fr/

I’ve tried “the test new version”. Same problem : margin bottom doesn’t work.

I precise that I’ve cleared all cache.

I will downgrade in 5.3 in few hours.

    Hi Tom,

thanks for giving me a chance to investigate.

What did you enter as a value for Margin Bottom?

Does it work when you add #genesis-footer-widgets into the Stop Elements option?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hello,

The margin bottom was set as 860px.

I’ve entered #genesis-footer-widgets into the Stop Elements option.

The margin bottom was then taken into account above this element. The widget was too high (860px above the footer). I’ve put 0px into the margin bottom and it’s fine.

    Thank you for your help,
    Tom
