    the following shortcode in a plublished page
    [history_timeline limit=10 category=1,2]
    display nothing ,
    there are ton of posts in those categories(id=1/id=2).

    The plugin has been tested and work with that wp version, you tagged the post with the same date format you configured in the plugin ?
